Never realise that i've not blogged for such a long period of time. Well, for the past one week, I was occupied with the Singapore Youth Conference, Lovid project and the preparation for the medisoc common test. I would say that it was a pretty exhausting week for me as I felt lethargic at the end of the week.
However, I managed to find some time catching up with my scorpion partner last thursday. I was supposed to meet her at NYP, however, I thought that NYP was located at ang mo kio so I waited for her there unware of the fact that I've gotten the location wrong. So after having waited 15 mins or so, and still having the mentality that I WAS RIGHT, she called me. It was then i realise that I've alighted at the wrong station. Haha.. a dreadful mistake that had wasted my EZ-link fare.... haiz... The day went by quite smoothly and fun. Oh yeah, the "peak" of the day was when we went to dine in at the Coffee Express at Takashimaya. LY and BL caught sight of a very cute waiter and kept teasing him, by asking for his number, trying to take a photo of him and to get his attention. Poor him, he was blushing throughout our whole stay there. It was also the most embarrassing moment in my entire life, as people around us were irritated by our "unruly and un-glam" behaviours. Now and then, they would shoot us with those irritated expressions. I was really embarrassed but it was fun, I've to admit. Because the way the guy blushed was really adorable, haha... and before we left, he stood at the entrance and said goodbye. Haha, a interesting guy indeed.
Yesterday, I chanced upon this variety show called Oprah Winfrey Show. I never expect it to be so appalling, entertaining and informational. It was a really good show. She invited guests, who were once victims of rape. The victims gave an account of the incident, and ways to counter such "unexpected attacks". They said that never let yourself to be taken to the second place by the criminal, if you did, that's it. Thus, both the victims fought back against the rapist, and one of them actually peeed at the rapist. It was kinda hilarious, but under such circumstances, one would not think about "glam or not glam thingy" and just do what they think will be of some advantage to them. There was also this old lady who was almost raped by a robber. She held to the rapist's penis and refused to let go, until the rapist plead her to call 911. haha... it was really funny, but i thought that it was really useful. The CID expert would actually advise the victim to hold on to the rapist's testicles as they're more sensitive or try to poke their eyes. The immediate reaction from the rapist would be to dodge from the attact to protect their eyes. So you can take the opportunity to escape.
