Last thing I'm going to talk about is the course I'm attending. I'm really in love which this course, though it burns a hole in my mum's pocket. Well, the course i'm attending is radio academy organised by one of the radio stations in Singapore. I chanced upon this course when my dad asked if I would be interested as he heard it over the radio. As i seldom listen to radio due to laziness, I agreed. Thinking that it would help to make my holidays more meaningful and is somehow related to my course. With my grades, I doubt I can make to any university, so I've to be productive and enthusiatic by grabbing any chance that I have. I hope that this will kinda help to double my chance into going university.
I always thought that my chinese is pretty good. But ever since I entered the redio academy class, I was swept off my feet with my classmates' powerful language. Their chinese is so damn good, that I suddenly feel so inferior of myself. In addition, all my classmates are professionals who hold high-ranking jobs, except the 3 of us who are still students. There are 2 ladies who work in some renowned magazine organization, one chinese DJ, one project assistant, 2 teachers and many more. All from different walks of life. Pretty eye-opening for me. However, this inevitably adds on to the burden and immense pressure acting on me to master my chinese well. Feel like a little girl in that class. haha. Met this great fren, who happened to be an ex-student of NP for 4 pathetic months. We became frenz quickly on the first day of class. :D
The teachers are very experienced and have worked in the media industry for decades. They impart their knowledge and tactics to us willingly. But their use of Chinese really adds on to my inferiority. I must really pull up my socks and work hard for my chinese during this hols. I have no wish to lose this beautiful language in me, I'll really really regret and hate myself for it. Ok, as the course juz started this week, so there's little i can share. Will touch more on it the next time i blog. :D
