Well, nothing much happened the past few days. Just let me recall the events that happened
Saturday
Went to the book warehouse sales with wei xuan (newly made fren from my radio academy course). The sales was really awesome. The books were sold at very very lost costs. For example, Stephen King's books were going for $4 - $8, Harry Potter's books going for $8. This is really crazy. However, we spent most of our time browsing through the cook books. Never realise that WX can cook. Haha, it's really rare to find guys who can cook nowadays. Compared to him, I felt rather "inferior" of myself coz till now I can only cook instant noodle. Haha, what a failure I am!Thus, I really salute this guy. In the end, we ended up spending all our money on the cook books which totaled up to $50++. haha... After that, we parted as he went to watch a mini concert which, coincidentally, held at the same place as the sale.
Sunday
Having browsed through the cook books, I made up my mind to do at least one dessert a week after being "inspired" by WX. So, I bought all the ingredients necessary and started my so-called "chef route". Haha... thanks god nothing went wrong this time round. (previously, all my desserts failed terribly that none of my brothers were willing to even sniff or take a look at them. However, as they were still edible, I forced them down my stomach and my parents' stomach. Haha, afterall my dear parents are still very supportive of me! :D ) Deng deng! After spending 2 hours in the kitchen, finally managed to "create" some decent-looking and yummy orange-yogurt muffins! haha... though my brother, who is always full of critics, complained of the weird smell of my muffins, he still ate it! haha... I'm really proud of my first fruitful attempt! Felt really encouraged and will make more desserts in the future! :D
