Throughout the entire weekend, I kept experiencing a sharp pain in my left ear due to the inflammation of my left tonsil. Rl brought to my attention that ever since i entered poly, I've been falling sick frequently. Throughout the entire of my secondary school life, I've only fallen sick for less than 5 times. However, now, I've "broken" this record. Hmm... it's time to build up my immune system :D.
Anyway, had a great weekend. I find myself falling deeper and deeper into music (in general, not refering to any particular genre). I guess it has become the next thing that I enjoy most, asides from spending time with my frenz and family. I can't wait to purchase a new set drums. Then I'll become the new "nuisance" by being the first to break the silence in my neighbourhood. Right now, I'm really thinking about furthering my music in US after I've gotten my long-waited degree. Yes, degree. In other words, I have to wait for at least 3 or 4 more years.
I seriously have no idea why all things happen simultaneously for this year (year 2).
First up, I was CCA-less. Thus I applied for a few with the mentality that I might not get chosen for any one, as I had to go for interviews. However, it turned out the other way. And I ended up with 4 CCAs. Am I lucky or what? Well, it's up to you to judge.
Secondly, I was jobless during the holidays. Thus, I went to apply for a job which I got it. However, after being employed, two job offers came knocking on my door. They came as a surprise for me. In the end, I ended having 3 jobs. In addition, I still have my CCAs at that time. Thus, throughout the entire school hols I found myself juggling with 3 jobs and 2 CCAs for me. Don't ask me how I handle them, it juz did.
Thirdly, same thing happen to me for my attachment. I applied for the Chinese editor position for trimedia. However, after 4 rounds of interviews, my hopes were dashed. Thinking that I won't make it for the position, I applied for CTV. However, yihan called me last Sat to tell me the supposedly good news - I'm in trimedia. I should be jumping in joy. But I was caught in between trimedia and CTV. Haiz... After much consideration, I've decided to give trimedia a go. Although I know that I should not let go of this chance which is hard to come by, I realised that I still have lots of catch up for my MT. My parents share the same sentiments. I'll try to talk to Mr Quek, who is in-charge of the Chinese section in the 2 print publications, and see how it goes.
Hope it'll be a nice week for me :D
