It's finally 2006! To start off with, I received the first shock of my life!
Someone snail mailed all my cards back to me! And I received it right after the clock hit midnight. My brother opened the mailbox around that time before coming home from work. This is a great start of the year for me :D
I lost my wallet a few weeks ago, with my IC, debit card, library card and a few neo prints. As a result, I was IC-less for more than a month.
I assumed that is is a female as the hand-writing is really nice. She wrote a small note to me and said that she had tried to contact me but I never reply me. The question that popped up in my head was "How did she know my contact no. as I did not leave it in my wallet." However, she was very nice and wished me a Happy New Year. Omg! I'm still in shock. I'm really grateful to her although my money, wallet and several namecards were not returned back to me. Oh well, at least i got my student card and IC back. And I can finally borrow books from the library again!! I'm so happy la. I have been deprived of books for the past few weeks as I was too broke to purchase any! Apparently, I had to beg my brother to lend me his. Haiz, it was a huge responsibility for me as I also fail to return the books on the deadline. The nightmare is finally over! :D So happy now! Haha... I love my country manz! haha...
Yesterday, dad drove my brother and I to take a look at the nightlife in Singapore. As most of the countdown parties had ended, there were many people stranded along the streets. All of them were trying to flag a taxi. It was an eye-opening experience for us as we passed by Geylang. We saw China ladies standing in the middle of the streets, hoping that someone would hitch on them. It was pretty interesting for me though. However, brother was thoroughly digusted by the sight of them. Shortly after, we saw a group of uncles crowding at the entrance of a bar. They seemed enthralled with the images on the TV screen. Thus, I fidget a little in the car seat to take a better view of what was so interesting, I saw images of scantily dressed ladies posing and dancing.
"=_=
I roared ito laughters. oh well, I can fully understand. These uncles are just sorta sexually deprived. Brother said that he would never want to visit Geylang in the middle of the night ever again. Haha... but to me, i thought the place was very happening. Nevermind about those uncles and ladies, there are people who go there to enjoy the food and to immense fully into the nightlife. In here, you can really say that the night is still young. I don't mind going there again, although that place is filled with uncles which i don't really understand why. haha... oh well...
Before I go off, wanna wish all of ya a Happy New Year and may all your wishes come true :D
