Today has been the busiest day of the month! haha... expecting more of such days to come soon.
To start off with, I had my violin exam this morning and I was the first to candidate. So, it was really nerve-racking for me. As expected, I kinda screwed up the entire exam due to my uncontrolled fear. Oh well, there's little i can do right now but to get on with my life. Duh~~ haha... Btw, I broke into cold sweat when I woke up this morning as I had a terrible nightmare - I was late for my violin exam. I cried to "wake". After all, the last the time I took my exam was 6 years ago, so I wasn't ready for any exam mood. Nonetheless, it was pretty funny. It juz showed how nervous I was even way before the exam started.
After that, met up with lw for breakfast at LJS. It was so oily, I guessed it was the oiliest breakfast I've ever had. Thanks god I had lw to share the fats with me and to spare me from running round the "garden", haha. After which, I accompanied her to the nearby polyclinic where she went for hepathetis screening. I was supposed to do it too but I backed out last min after learning that I have to pay 20 bucks. I'm simply too poor to afford it, sob sob.
We headed to town for a media conference. Yeah, another media conference. It just seemed endless. However, I was totally freaked out this time round. It was held at a grand hotel and it was very formal as compared to the previous ones I attended. Frankly speaking, I felt quite out of place there. To make it worse, my ability was doubted by someone else. I can't blame anyone, after all, I've not proven my ability to anyone nor have I written any published article. No matter how much I loathe the fact that I was looked down upon (regardless if it's intentionally or unintentionally), I must produce quality work to back my stand. Wish my luck! :D Fortunately I had lw with me, if not I'll never even think of going. I had a pretty good time interviewing the people, it was very fun. I guess I'm kinda into the mood, juz that there's still room for improvement. And I need to work harder coz till now I've yet to organise my information and pen them into a story.
The media conference was the longest I've ever attended. As a result, right after it, both of us had to rush down for a job interview. It didn't turn out to be a job interview. Yeah, and I rejected the job offer. I shall not go into any detail.
We ended off the day by making a fool out of myself. Lw took quite a few idiotic photos of me right in the middle of Raffles place. haha... it effing fun! Although it attracted many onlookers' attention, it had been a long time since i was this "wild" and "crazy"!
Btw, gotta go to slp now as I gotta go back to school to prepare for the upcoming performance. Nitez :D
Joke of the day
Anonymous: Miss, can you spare me a few minutes?
Looking at lw, me: Erm… oh ok.
Anonymous: Are the both of you 28?
Staring hard at him, before turning to lw, me: Erm, no…
Anonymous: Oh, I’m terribly sorry. Bye
*Shrugged a little before turning back to look at Lw*
