It had been another tedious and hectic week for me. I've been surviving on less than 3 hours of sleep for the past few days, but the layout for the Chinese section in Tribune is almost done! Yay! After this, I'll be busy collecting stories for the next issue and also Hype magazine.
Life as a journalist is both exuberating yet tiring. My entire biological system took a 180 degrees turn since the day I took up this job, where I've become a nocturnal "creature". Public holidays are not found in my dictionary, which is pretty sad. Haha, i guess that's due to my working style, which is to complete work that is dued weeks later. However, till now, I've yet to put this into practise. haha... gotta pull up my socks. I felt pressurised to follow the steps of the previous Chinese eds, who had done a marvellous job.
Today's interview session with Cao Ge went pretty well. My worries were unfounded, when I realised that he wasn't as quiet as what what I've read about him in the articles. In fact, he was both humble and bubbly throughout the entire course of interview. As for me, I guess there's still room for improvements for my socialising skills.
Btw, after a chat with scorpion partner yesterday, I've decided not to pursue mass comm in university. Earlier on, I was still hesistant abt my decision. However, after a chat with SP and Mr Kwek, I received the light of enlightment *ding*! haha... Right now, I'll start to drill on both my languages and start saving up. So that I can pursue my ideal course in university.
Last but not least:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUDA!!!!
