Today has been a totally crazy day for me. To start off with, I was trying to find Conrad hotel even though it was just in front of me. Instead, I retarded-ly walked one big round (took me 10mins) before I realised it was in front of me. However, while searching for the interview venue, I received a msg informing me that the interview session had to be pushed back as they have over-run it. I thought it was very sweet and nice of the person to inform me beforehand. I would prefer to be informed beforehand rather than not informing me at all - pretending that I'm aware of everything.
Upon reaching the place, I met another journalist who was also waiting for her turn. I guess I've developed a new hobby - chatting with strangers. Through every chat, it deepens my knowledge on everything, be it the society, occupation or people. After the journalist went in, the person-in-charge came out and requested if my interview could be pushed back to 3pm at Bishan. This was becoz the journalist behind me had to rush off for another coverage and the interviewee had to rush off for an autograph session. I gladly took up this "offer", as it was the only way to lessen anyone's burden. By doing so, it would also benefit 2 ppl, weren't I doing a good deed? haha...
Thus, I traveled from City Hall to Bishan. It was really tiring while waiting for the interview to start. I sorta lost the momentum and start to doze off. After waiting for 3 hours, the wait was finally over. Hmmm... the interview went smoothly. After the interview, I had to stand on the stage to take photos of my interviewee's birthday bash. Haha... it felt quite weird though. My digital camera, as usual, screwed up on me. Sigh, hope that the photos which I took are ok.
I finally knocked off at 5pm! Sigh, by then, I was already half-dead. Apparently, I had to drag myself to board the bus home. No kidding. I was really exhuasted after a day of running around and standing.
To end off the day, I need to break!
