I share the sentiments with Huijun regarding the Tribune thing. 3 lecturers looked through that freaking article, n all 3 were satisfied with it. Does that mean that all 3 of them aren't as good as CY? Maybe. I don't know. I understand that she possesses both the experience and the knowledge, but my confidence was greatly shattered when Huijun broke the news to me. Throughout my entire internship, this hit me really hard.
Altough CY agreed to help out with Tribune, I can sense the reluctance in her. Maybe becoz it isn't handled by her students. I don't know. I still remember vividly when I approached her with a few articles to edit. My heart literally sank when she said, "Huh? Still got so many articles ar?" To you, it may mean nothing. But to me, I felt I've added on to her workload. I was already feeling very bad and guilty for having to trouble them with my articles. That statement made me felt even worse. In the end, it took her more than 2 weeks to edit. In addition, out of the 4 articles given to her, only 1 was returned back.
At that point of time, I felt really discouraged. That was part of the reason why I never look for CY again to edit my articles, despite the fact that she may be a lot better (according to ah y "=.=)
