I've been rotting at home since my resignation last Thursday. ha, but I managed to catch up with several individuals whom I've not seen in ages. And it certainly brought back lots of good old memories. =) In the midst of catching up with these old buddies, managed to catch a couple of movies - Pursuit of Happyness and Hannibal Rising.
The first movie was really an inspiring and heart-warming film. True, there wasn't much climax in it, but your heart just felt a pinch whenever the character was faced with one setback after another. Also, the great chemistry between Will Smith and his son added certain charm to the film, making it truly enjoyable. For the latter, I was sort of "coerced" into watching it. I don't mind watching horror films, but films on psychotic people simply sent chills and shivers down my spine. The gory scenes, the gruesome methods of torturing and killings will really turn me off. Ironically, I've been watching quite a no. of films and television shows featuring such psychopaths, which I shall not delve further into it.
Recently, driven nuts by the never-ending boredom, I've decided to start watching the film and reading the books that I've borrowed months ago. I wonder if they've forgotten the existence of their possessions. ha. Horrible me.
Btw, I guess the hottest topic right now is the release of results. Ha. All I can say is that I'm sooo not an engineering student. Ha. Coz for the last semester I took up a module on mobile robotics respectively. Something which I had never dreamt of doing. ha. But, I'm quite pleased with my graduating GPA. Though it's not fantastic, it has certainly hit my expectation. Ask me if you want to knw. =)
