Basking
yourself in the serenity of the night, and enjoying the music playing from the radio, it's kinda easy for one to feel nostalgic again. As I was listening to Josh
Groban's You raised me up, it kinda relived the days working at
Sakura. It was one of my colleague's favourite song, who is blessed with the most amazing voice. Every morning, his singing would pierce through the tranquility of the restaurant and make everyone stop and listen. Despite his powerful vocal, he is a pretty shy person, who's afraid of making an anouncement before everyone. He would always blush and hide behind someone whenever the manager wanted him to make a speech. Nonetheless, when it comes to slacking, he is always the first. Now, having fulfilled his 6 months of attachment here, he has went back to Philippines with another fellow course mate. Kinda miss both of them though. Ha... Their innocence and immature behaviours make you wanna laugh yet cry at times.
Though it was a pretty short stay, I became really emotionally attached to that place. The days of hysterical laughter, shouting across the restaurants, the tension, the madness and craziness... and a lot more. I like the feeling of having to wake up in the morning, wanting and looking forward to work. There wasn't even a slightest hint of dislike or
reluctance. The people there are your motivation and the reason for your stay. Their genuine care and concern for each other simply make it up for everything. Thank you for making this such a memorable phase in my life. I don't think I'll ever forget anyone of you. =)oblivion
